How Lambeth Got Here
Under the current Labour administration, Lambeth Council has:
- Imposed the largest rent rise in England
- Shrunk local housing offices
- Frozen all but emergency housing repairs
- Matched the largest Council Tax rise in London
- Hammered leaseholders through service charge increases
- Doubled Home Help charges for the elderly and ill
- Failed to build schools alongside new, long-planned housing
- Abolished Area Committees where residents previously had a voice
- Closed leisure facilities throughout the borough
- Placed a dustcart depot in a residential area
- Wasted millions of pounds on propaganda
- Awarded Labour (“Cabinet”) councillors huge pay rises
Lambeth deserves better.
i have been trying to find details of the conservative candidates for the local elections and their election addresses.
without success .
and there is nothing on your own website .. as far as i can see.
can you tell me where i can find info? have been considering voting for your team as neither labour nor libdem seem to be able to shake the thing into shape… but if i can;t find any info i cannot make that decision
